Join us for “Unbought and Unbossed!” Sunday, October 15th at 3:00 p.m. at Art Rage Located at 505 Hawley Ave. Syracuse, NY

Join us for a film screening about the congresswoman, Shirley Chisholm and her candidacy for president, the first-ever run by a woman and person of color for presidential nomination.  Following the film, Linda Brown-Robinson, president of the Syracuse NAACP, will host a panel discussion with County Legislator, Peggy Chase; Diane Dwire, former candidate for NYS Assembly; and NYS Assemblymember, Pamela J. Hunter. Presented in partnership with, the Syracuse NAACP, CNY NOW, the National Organization for Woman, and CNY NAWS, the National Association of Social Workers.  The event is sponsored by a Humanities New York Action Grant Any views, findings, conclusions or recommendations expressed in these programs do not necessarily represent those of the National Endowment for the Humanities.
