Meet Our 2023/2024 Executive Committee | The NAACP of Syracuse and Onondaga County

Local NAACP members, community members, family and friends joined to attend the Swearing in Ceremony for the NAACP of Syracuse and Onondaga County’s 2023/2024 Executive Committee Officers.

The Hon. Linda Ervin, Onondaga County Legislator joined the proceedings as Master of Ceremonies. The installation of Officers was performed by the. Hon. Felicia Pitts-Davis, Syracuse City Court Judge.

The Invocation was provided by Brother Darrell Woodard, Pastor of the Southside Church of Christ. K. Daniel Reed joined the event and leading the audience in singing “Lift Every Voice and Sing.”

Members of the 2023/2024 Executive Committee are: Gwendolyn Muok, President, Elliott Boyce, 2nd Vice President, Sheri Dozier Owens, Secretary, Michele Galvin Jones, Asst. Secretary, Diane Dwire, Treasurer, Shirley Rowser, Asst. Treasurer; Executive Members At – Large are: Andrea Bernard, Linda Brown – Robinson, Tom Cerio, Esq., Lura Lunkenheimer, Joanie Mahoney, Esq., Michael Melton, Van B. Robinson, Tai Shaw and Terry Woodfork.
