    Careers at Upstate: We’re helping in getting the word out about a new position at Upstate created by Dr. Sharon Brangman to increase diversity in our aging research programs. “Alzheimer’s disease is twice as common in African Americans and yet there are very few of us participating in clinical research programs that could provide benefit. This new position would help create community relationships that we hope over time will make older adults more comfortable with the idea of participating.,” Dr. Brangman said.     Amazon Starts Hiring for Jobs in Clay, NY

    March 10, 2021 /

    By Rick Moriarity, Syracuse Post Standard, March 2, 2021 Syracuse, N.Y. — Amazon has begun hiring for jobs at a massive distribution center in Clay and a last-mile delivery facility in DeWitt, both of which are still under construction. The online retailer lists two support engineer positions at the Clay site, and eight jobs for process assistants, human resources personnel, driver trainers, field quality assurance employees and a yard marshal in DeWitt. The jobs are posted on the company’s Amazon Jobs website. They are just a few of the hundreds of jobs that Amazon is expected to create in Onondaga County this year.
